Heather and I did a short camp trip into the North Fork of the American Canyon. It was a great weekend and really beautiful except for the fact that both her and I couldn’t walk for the next 4 days. It was a steep decent down to the river which meant for a tough hike back to the car the following morning. My rough calculation was 2 mile hike with about 2500’ of elevation change.
